A Concussion Can Have Lasting Impacts On Young People

It's not too late to help your child achieve a full recovery

The Aviv program is backed by over 15 years of research and customized to each patient's needs. We combine cognitive training, physical therapy, dietary coaching, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat the body and brain after a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and get your child back to their full potential. To date, more than 10,000 clients as young as 14 with cognitive and physical conditions have been treated with the Aviv protocol.

Linden Perry had been a star athlete and an honors student when she suffered a concussion.

Unable to concentrate in school or on the field, Linden and her mother were told that they should simply accept her new normal. Instead, they turned to the Aviv Medical Program.

The Aviv Medical Program: How it Works

MRI Machine for Brain Scanning

In-depth medical assessment

At Aviv, we start by determining the severity of the brain injury based on MRI, physical, cognitive, and neurological test results to assess the damage and determine suitability for treatment.  The assessment is conducted by Aviv’s certified medical staff including physicians, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, physiologists, and nurses. This involves the most advanced, tailor-made brain imaging tests, such as functional MRI and SPECT scans.

One in Four Children are Likely to Suffer from Long-Term Concussion Impact

A concussion is an invisible illness but its long-term impact is very real and can last for months or years. One in four children are likely to suffer chronic effects after a concussion.

Unfortunately, concussions and other brain injuries are misunderstood, even by many medical professionals. The expert clinicians at Aviv Clinics understand this complex condition and how to treat it.

Our team can help you determine if the Aviv Medical Program is right for your loved one.

We Understand Treating Concussions Better Than Anyone

The Aviv team created the Aviv Medical Program under the scientific leadership of Dr. Shai Efrati, Director of the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research at the Shamir Medical Center in Israel. Dr. Efrati is also an associate professor at the Sackler School of Medicine and the Sagol School of Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University.

Benefits of the program may include improved cognitive and motor functioning (such as attention, memory, focus, clarity, mobility, coordination, balance, and gait), as well as renewed confidence, even long after an injury.

96% of people who have completed the Aviv Medical Program have experienced clinically verifiable improvements in brain function.
